November 2007 - CAMCO's Vortex amplifiers are, for the first time, available as part of a large-format stadium sound system in
India, as Kochin-based UDAYA SOUND takes delivery of its first internationally-branded sound reinforcement inventory.
Udaya Sound has been a fixture on the Indian entertainment scene for 40 years, and is the region's leading PA rental service.
Udaya Sound director M. Azhar Meem explains that "we have made this investment so that we can better handle the service of major
live concerts in the state of Kerala; with our new inventory, we can manage audiences of 50,000."
The CAMCO Vortex 6 amplifiers will be used to power a NEXO GEO T array system. To provide the first live training session for
its engineers, Udaya Sound staged its own free concert..for 10,000 people!
