August 2006 - For the fourth year in a row, the YOUNG & FREE Festival brought thousands of young fans to the Olympia Stadium in
Munich. More than 30 CAMCO Vortex 6 amplifiers delivered the music performances of national and international stars such as Die
Killerpilze, US5, Jeanette Biedermann and Tobias Regner.
Concept and realisation of the sound reinforcement set-up was in the hands of the company Limelight from Gilching near Munich.
The system they used was NEXO's GEO T tangent-array, comprising 20 x GEO T 4805, 4 x GEO T 2815, 8x GEO CD 18 and 34x GEO S for
the sides.
For stage fills, the system used 2 stacks of ALPHA M8/B1/B1, for monitoring there were 16x NEXO PS15 wedges and 2x PS15 subs. The
amplification for the event consisted of 34x CAMCO Vortex 6 to power the system, controlled by 9x NEXO NX242 and 8x PS15
TDcontrollers.
